Introduction

Shahkot is a town and tehsil in the Nankana Sahib District of Pakistan. The town has a population of about 200,000.Shahkot is on the Lahore-Faisalabad highway which brings much traffic to the area. The town is connected by road to Sangla Hill, Chak Jhumra, Salarwala, Jaranwala, Safdarabad and the district capital Nankana Sahib.
The town is situated in a hilly area.
Many worshippers come to the of Syed Abu-Al-Khair on Baba Nolukh Hazari on March 23–25 of every year.
